The 4th International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC 2020), was held on 27th – 28th February in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia under the theme “Planning ahead: Delivering Resilience in the Face of Climate Uncertainty”. The conference was organized by The Internationa l Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka in collaboration with the University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia as the hosting partner while Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Bangladesh was the academic partners. The Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), Malaysia, Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS), Bangladesh, Thuru, Sri Lanka were as the Strategic Partners for this year’s conference.
ICCC 2020 covered a range of disciplinary areas such as policy and law, Environment, technology, career and employment opportunities, to name a few along with the speeches from renowned speakers, best presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities. Moreover, the conference welcomed 40+ participants from 20 countries around the world.
The opening remarks of ICCC 2020 were made by the Conference Co-Chair Dr. Rangika Bandara (Senior Lecturer, Department of Zoology and Environmental Management, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka), Mr. John Patrick Antonysamy ( Senior Under Secretary, Climate Change Division, Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change) and Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Aini Ideris (Vice-Chancellor, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia) together with Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Conference Convener/Managing Director, The International Institute of Knowledge Management).

Through the publication workshop, it was intended to disseminate knowledge on writing scientific papers and scholarly publications to assist future researchers. The workshop was moderated by Prof. Michael Sadowsky (Director, Bio-Technology Institute, Distinguished McKnight Professor, University of Minnesota, USA and Dr. Edward Ooi Chien Wei (Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering Discipline Monash University Malaysia). The Perspective of the publication workshop was to assist researchers who write full papers with the aim of publishing in a reputable journal or in a reputable proceeding. Through this publication workshop, the facilitator was able to disseminate knowledge on writing scientific papers and scholarly publications for future researchers. All conference participants were delighted and graced by this opportunity.

All full papers sent for conference proceedings will be subjected to double-blind reviewing process and will be published electronically with an ISSN 2513-258x in the proceedings with a DOI Number (DOI prefix: 10.17501).
Accepted papers published in conference proceedings will be submitted to Google Scholar, Clarivate Analytics and Thomson Reuters for possible indexing.
